Ibiza Airport Parking
Ibiza, being one of Spain’s Balearic Islands, is well known for its scenic villages, happening casinos, clubs and sandy beaches. Ibiza airport also sees a heavy traffic throughout the year especially during summers. For catering such a large number of visitors, there are several facilities at the airport as well. But in terms of parking at the airport, most motorists find the area a bit small for parking. Moreover, the area remains packed during summers when thousands of people visit Ibiza for water sporting.
Ibiza airport contains only one main car park. The area is located at the outside of the Terminal building and offers around 500 parking spaces only. Once you arrive at the parking area then you can easily reach at the terminal building by a quick walk therefore there is no need of further transportation like shuttle buses for getting an access to the check-in area. For parking at the airport, you do not need to pay any amount at the beginning but you will have to pay the charge while returning back to the area for collecting your car. You can do the payment through credit card or cash as well. Parking for the first 30 minutes is free of charge.
Parking at Ibiza airport is free for drop-offs and pick-ups but for maximum 15 minutes. Passengers who have booked a rental car can drive away directly from the airport. Special designated bays can also be located at Ibiza airport for disabled people. These spaces are within the main car parking at the airport, quite close to the terminal. Vehicles that are parked at the entrance of the terminals can not be left unattended. This is generally the case with all of the European airports and ensures perfect security and safety of all the vehicles. However, curbside parking is not allowed by certain bigger airports anymore.
